Marimuthu faced a sudden medical emergency when he collapsed at approximately 8:30 am on a Friday morning. This unfortunate incident occurred while he was actively involved in dubbing for his TV serial “Ethirneechal” in Chennai. He was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Who was G Marimuthu?
According to a report by One India, he has appeared in more than 50 films, in addition to his roles as a movie director and his appearances on television shows. G Marimuthu decided to leave his hometown of Pasumalaitheri in Theni back in 1990, driven by his aspirations of making it as a film director.
At first, he started his career as a waiter in hotels. However, his fate took a turn when he crossed paths with the well-known lyricist Vairamuthu. This fortuitous encounter led to an opportunity as an assistant director, and he began working alongside Rajkiran on notable films such as “Aranmanai Kili” (1993) and “Ellame En Rasathan” (1995), as reported by the source.
